Onyinye Onuma studied Surveying and Geoinformatics at the University of Lagos and graduated in 2005. She has worked at a Seismic Exploration Company which is in the Oil Service industry for over 6 years. She is also a certified Project Management Professional. She is proficient in the use of industry GISand project management software. Onyinye is a blogger and enjoys reading and writing at her spare time. Spending time with nature wherever possible is one of her favourite past-times. Moses Anubi

Moses Anubi's photo

Olugbenga Moses Anubi received his B.S (Hons) in Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2006. After then, he proceded to the University of Florida for graduate studies where he obtained a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Center for Intelligent Machines and Robotics (CIMAR) in 2013. He is an information technology enthusiasts and has at various times held roles in Communication, Software programming, Database administration and Business Analysis. Ayodeji Akiwowo

Ayodeji Akiwowo's photo

Ayodeji Akiwowo is graduate of Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He went on to the Automatic Control and Systems Engineering Department at the University of Sheffield where he completed an MSc in Control Systems Engineering in 2008. In 2012, Ayodeji received a PhD in Machine Learning from Loughborough University, UK. A STEMnet Ambassador,  Ayodeji is very passionate about education particularly providing training and self development courses to various level of students. In the past, he has volunteered in secondary schools in Lagos, Nigeria and the UK providing his teaching and mentoring services for free. Emeka Onwuka


Emeka Onwuka's photo

Onwuka Chukwuemeka is married with two beautiful children, lives in Ibadan, Nigeria and works for Procter and Gamble, Nigeria as a Health, Safety, and Environment Leader. He passed out of Yaba College of Technology with Honors in Mechanical engineering in 2007 before completing a Professional certification program with OSHAcademy International, in the United States of America, were he achieved great Merits and was awarded a Professional Certification to practice Occupational Health, and Safety, internationally. In 2012, he was introduced as an Honor student to Colombia Southern University, Orange beach, USA, by OSHAcademy to study Occupational Health, and Safety. He is currently enrolled at CSU, Studying Occupational Safety and Health and working as a Safety Leader in P&G, Nigeria.

Kehinde Orolu


Kehinde Orolu obtained his B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc degrees from Systems Engineering, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently on his Phd programme. He is very proficient in the use of MATLAB programming language -The Language of Technical Computing. He is a lecturer in the department of Systems Engineering. Ajao Adeyemi


Ajao Adeyemi studied Chemical engineering at the University of Lagos. He has been active in drug delivery research and have worked in various capacity at Atbalance, Wild well control, Sara lee, Coca-cola, LSU and Triple E Systems on various projects for over 9 years. Yemi as fondly refered to, loves to keep it simple. He enjoys innovations and he is currently developing capabilities for his new enterprise in IT. He enjoys sharing his experience to help others into their respective endeavors

Chinwe Njoku


Chinwe Njoku is a Research Associate in the School of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering at Loughborough University, UK, working on the use of artificial materials for microwave applications. She graduated with a PhD in the same field and an MSc in Networked Communications from the same University in 2013 and 2009 respectively. Her first degree was in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in 2006, followed by an NYSC year at Fidelity Bank, Nigeria. She received the highest university prize from Loughborough University – the Sir Robert Martin University Prize in 2012 and in the same year, was nominated for ‘Innovator: Science & Technology’ and ‘Young Person of the Year’ at the Future Awards, Nigeria 2012. She is looking forward to contributing her quota to upgrading the educational standards in Nigeria in the nearest future, and currently learning the Chinese language.

Adelaja Israel Osofero


Adelaja Israel Osofero is a Lecturer and admissions tutor in Civil Engineering at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He graduated with PhD (Civil Engineering: Structural Engineering Research Group) in 2012 and MSc in General Structural Engineering in 2008 with distinction and Ronald Stewart Jenkins Memorial Prize, both from Imperial College London. His first degree was in Civil Engineering at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, graduating in 2006 with a first class and at the top of the class. Israel has held a number of positions both in the academia and in the industry. Before his present appointment at Northumbria University, he worked as a Research Assistant in Structural Engineering at Imperial College London (2008 – 2011), Assistant Engineer at Atkins China Ltd in Hong Kong (2011 -2013) and as a Civil Engineer (secondment) with Hong Kong Airport Authority, Hong Kong (2013). He speaks a little Cantonese and is greatly passionate about education, particularly in Nigeria.

Igho Palmer


Igho Palmer is a seasoned information technology professional specializing in infrastructure support/ implementation, project management and business analysis. He has a Masters in Information Systems and Technology from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos. As an enthusiast for continuous growth and nurturing, Igho always looks forward to providing advice to students to enable them achieve their dreams.

Oluseyi Ajayi


Oluseyi Moses Ajayi is an eco-manufacturing and sustainability evangelist. Oluseyi received his BSc (Hons) in Food Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007. He worked as a graduate assistant during his NYSC service at the Department of Agricultural and Biosytems Engineering, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. After his NYSC service, he proceeded to the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University, United Kingdom where he obtained his MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management in 2010 and his PhD in Manufacturing and Operations Management in 2013. He is currently a Lecturer in Food Engineering and KTP Associate in Sustainable Manufacturing for Small Businesses at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, University of Lincoln, United Kingdom.

Quadri Yinusa


Quadri Yinusa is a satellite communication professional. He has over 8 years experience in the industry. He is currently working on a Direct-To-Home project to deliver broadcasting over satellite to the Nigerian and Africa market at large. He has interests in technology, economics, Nigerian politics and teaching.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering from the University of Lagos.
